Instructors, consider scheduling time in your syllabus—at least 2 weeks before you assign any major research-related writing tasks—to show your students this webinar on how to set up an APA Style paperopens in new window step-by-step. If your students have access to computers, laptops, and other devices they can use to compose documents during class, you can make this activity interactive by having them create a template for their paper(s) as they watch the webinar and follow the directions provided in it.

You can also give your students this PDF of the student paper setup guide (3.3MB)opens in new window discussed in the webinar to enhance their learning experience.
